WHAT YOU CAN DO
Choose a tool by task
Each tool has its own controls and supported inputs. Open the relevant tool page for its instructions before selecting a file.
Organize pages and files
Combine PDFs, split selected pages into separate files, reorder pages, remove pages you do not need, adjust rotation or crop, and add page numbers.
Create PDFs from other formats
Turn common documents, spreadsheets, presentations, images, and supported HTML or webpage input into a PDF you can review and save.
Convert PDFs to useful formats
Export PDF content to editable document formats, save pages as JPG images, or create PDF/A-formatted output for archiving workflows. Check the result for changes in layout, tables, fonts, or reading order.
Edit, mark up, and sign
Add text, images, shapes, highlights, or freehand marks; apply text or image watermarks; and place a drawn, typed, or uploaded signature image on a PDF.
A visual signature does not itself confirm identity, certification, or acceptance under a recipient’s rules. Check the requirements that apply to your document.
Work with scans and large files
Reduce file size, try to repair a damaged PDF, assemble image or camera captures into a PDF, and use OCR to make recognized text in scanned documents searchable.
OCR can misread characters, especially when a scan is blurry, skewed, or otherwise difficult to read.
Compare and manage document access
Review differences between PDF versions, cover selected areas with the redaction workflow, add password protection, or unlock a file when you have the required access and permission.
Before sharing a redacted file, reopen the final download and verify that the intended content is covered and the document behaves as expected.
A SIMPLE WORKFLOW
From the task to a checked result
The available controls differ by tool, but a careful workflow helps you catch issues before a document is used or shared.
-
Choose the matching tool
Start with the operation you need and read the tool page for supported inputs and available options.
-
Apply the changes
Select the requested file or input, then use the controls provided by that tool. Keep an appropriate copy of important originals.
-
Review the output
Open the downloaded file and check page order, formatting, recognized text, signatures, or covered areas before relying on it.
Understand how files are handled
PDFologist’s standard document workflows are designed around processing selected files in the browser. The site can still load scripts, fonts, and other resources from third parties, and temporary data behavior can vary by tool and browser. Browser-based processing is not a blanket guarantee that all website activity stays on one device or domain.

Conversions can change layout or structure, OCR can make recognition errors, and repair tools may not recover every part of a damaged file. A PDF/A output or a placed signature image does not automatically establish compliance with a specific legal, archival, or organizational requirement.
